Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are all locked in as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Leia Solo, respectively - but recent rumors have suggested that other characters from the franchise's past could be coming back as well. But the question remains: is revisiting the past a welcome bit of nostalgia, or is it the same kind of misstep that the prequel films m
Director Martin Scorsese wasn’t exactly subtle with the tension and terror of Cape Fear , the story of a convicted criminal who seeks revenge on the lawyer who put him there, terrorizing him and his family, particularly his teenage daughter. Beginning the movie with chilling music and a blood red close-up on the daughter’s eyes warns audiences that the story she’s about to recount is a violent and truly unsettling one, due in large part to Robert De Niro’s acclaimed performance as the film’s villain. The family survives in the end, with the lawyer successfully killing his former client - but the damage has been done. To remind viewers that Cape Fear is as much about the loss of innocence as it is about revenge or protecting your family, the film returns to the "spared" daughter, this time fading from innocent white to red – and keeping audiences from feeling too good about its happy end
Somewhere out there in the universe, a force is growing under a veil of secrecy and shadow - and not just any force, but THE force. We're now two years away from the 2015 release of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII and we still know little-to-nothing solid about what Disney has planned for its big re-launch of Star Wars - other than the fact that some familiar faces will be returning to the franch
No other actor embodies the age of American Westerns like John Wayne, with his role as Ethan Edwards in The Searchers considered one of his finest roles. The film opens inside a West Texas homestead, revealing a stunning landscape as Ethan first returns home after leaving years earlier to fight in the Civil War. When his brother’s family is killed not long after, and their two daughters kidnapped, Ethan sets off to find them no matter how long it may take. The youngest daughter Debbie is finally tracked down years later, and Ethan personally delivers brings her back home. Although it’s technically a different home, she is welcomed with open arms, and the future, for once, looks bright. With no place for an aging soldier inside, Ethan is left to walk into the wild all by himself. The shot is a perfect mirror of the one which started the film, and director John Ford’s iconic closing image is just one of the reasons The Searchers would go on to be seen by many as a masterpiece, and one of the greatest films ever m
David Fincher had an incredible challenge adapting the novel Gone Girl to film, but the opening shot is a hard one to forget. Showing what should be a loving scene between a husband and wife, star Rosamund Pike’s sudden stare into the camera and Ben Affleck’s narration put audiences on edge, warning them that the story about to unfold was anything but simple. A kidnapping, lies, and murder all led the estranged couple back to eachother, forced to decide just how willing they were to keep lying for the sake of a marriage – and public perception. Having the couple end up right back where they started from may have been a hard pill for viewers to swallow, but Fincher makes the message loud and clear, ending the movie with the exact same shot he opened on – but the audience’s opinion of the woman in frame has completely chan
If the report is accurate, the addition of three new Best Cd Key Deals|Https://Gamedealhq.Com/ female characters could do a lot to assuage the criticisms that were levied against Star Trek Into Darkness for having an overwhelmingly male cast - a situation not helped by the awkward fanservice-y misfire of having Carol Marcus strip down to her underwear and just sort of stand there while Captain Kirk and the camera gawped at

Jurassic Park was a hard adventure to beat, but director Steven Spielberg tackled the challenge anyway, removing dinosaurs from the island, and dropping them in San Diego. The added spectacle wasn’t a hit with every fan, but the director had gotten the chance to finally film many of the sequences and plot beats that he couldn’t fit in the first movie. The Lost World ended with the dinosaurs traveling back to Isla Sorna, and letting Spielberg finally take on the role of a fan – literally. Look closely at the TV reflection in the final scene, and the director can be seen with a bowl of popcorn in his lap, and a smile on his f
Backstory: During the Times Square hunting sequence in I Am Legend , Robert Neville (Will Smith) passes a billboard advertising a Superman and Batman team-up film set to open on May 15, 2010. Given the 2007 I Am Legend release, had the tongue-in-cheek easter egg come true, the film would have likely featured Brandon Routh (whose Superman Returns released in 2006) and Christian Bale (who debuted as Batman in 2005). Of course, Warner Bros. has since announced an actual Batman V Superman crossover in their Man of Steel sequel, which will star Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in the iconic roles. So, maybe I Am Legend really did include a hidden message from Warner Bros. after all - i.e. they've wanted to cash-in with a World's Finest team-up for more than half a dec
